This is my personal journey of gaining weight whic

This is my personal journey of gaining weight which was a positive for me!
When I was 18yrs old*, I was underweight at just 6.5stone. I had a fast metabolism and was under a lot of emotional pressure at home. I couldn’t gain weight, even at university, I was still only 7.5 stone and a size 8.
So what changed? Kickboxing! As I started exercising regularly my appetite an muscle mass grew. For me I felt stronger and more powerful. My dress size grew but it didn’t bother me.
I was too busy loving my new shape! My confidence grew after a style analysis and I’ve never looked back.
What did I gain apart from weight?
-feeling powerful
-being part of a team
-learning new skills
-helped me have enough energy to stand on my feet for a 10hr day in the pharmacy.

More than 20yrs later, I’m still love hitting a punch bag! Exercise is not just physical for me. It keeps me sane, gets all my stress out and I sleep better too. Thanks to @phoenix_kickboxing_ and @styled.by.susie for helping me on my way.
