Stomach pain Case study
Presenting condition: Stomach/abdominal pain
Brief history: Stabbing pain just under ribcage after each meal for 10yrs+
Relevant timeline incidents:
18yrs Failed his A-levels and had to go through clearing to go to University. He experienced bullying at university, but then found friends. Difficult relationship with his dad. Mum and dad were arguing a lot. Mum was supportive but overprotective. Stomach pains started at this time.
21ys Wanted to join the army but due to his asthma he was medically discharged. Very disappointed with this.
22yrs When to China after graduating. He matured and felt he then had a better relationship with his mother.
Main remedy given: Staphasagria
After 1st prescription:
No stabbing pains after eating but hasn’t tried it with his trigger foods of oily food and excess alcohol. Generalised bloating still present. Neela added the remedy of Lycopodium. Client had stopped his high dose Esomeprazole prescription drug during this time.
After 2nd prescription:
Not had stomach pain for ages! Tested it several times with oily food/excess alcohol and 0/10 pain.
Summary:
