Hot flushes, trigeminal neuralgia and gallbladder Case study
Presenting condition:
Severe pelvic pain in similar area to pancreas. Hot flushes which cause her to soak through her shirt at work. Night sweats which soak her night clothes. Trigeminal neuralgia on left side of face causing severe burning pain. Eczema and tinnitus in her left ear.
Brief history:
Gallbladder removed 1yr ago and diagnosed with acute pancreatitis and fatty liver.
Relevant timeline incidents:
61yrs Mum died suddenly. She didn’t have a close relationship with her. Probate is still going on.
62yrs Gallbladder pain and then it was removed
63yrs Caught between 2 work colleagues who don’t get on. 1 is fearful of her job security.
Main remedy given: Nat Mur
After 1st prescription:
No pelvic pain this month but can be random. Less sweating and less frequent hot flushes this month. Remedy for this works quickly so she is very happy with this. Night sweats are less frequent. They are not every night, are still waking her but are less intense. Trigeminal neuralgia is much less. The remedies work extremely well and it is then gone for the whole day. ‘Amazing!’ Itch mix is working well for the internal ear eczema. It was about 4 times a day, and now is no longer waking her in the night to scratch. Sleep is considerably better. She is able to go back to sleep after waking up to urinate. She is feeling refreshed more often in the mornings. Bowels are now softer.
After 2nd prescription:
Pelvic pain still not come back. Only having 1 hot flush a day, often none at all! They are less intense and shorter compared to last month. Night sweats have totally stopped! Trigeminal neuralgia is less intense and less frequent than last month. She found Neela’s recommendation of Bach Flower Walnut for protection very helpful. Inner ear eczema is less intense and itching only occurs first thing in the morning. Sleep is very good! She feels really well in herself!
Summary:
This lady had multiple ailments and was really feeling out of sorts. She very quickly responded to the remedies and her sleep, bowels, hot flushes, facial nerve pain and ear eczema all improved!
