Itchy Leucorrhoea Case study
Presenting condition: Recurrent threadworm infections with itchy lumpy vaginal discharge causing insomnia
Brief history: Recurrent threadworm infections from her children but the vaginal discharge continued with or without the live parasites. Client was up several times in the night with intolerable vulval itching.
Relevant timeline incidents:
7yrs Suffered with threadworms as a child but mother was also alcoholic.
38yrs Stopped drinking alcohol 8 months ago. Was used to help ‘turn down the noise’ in her head due to ADHD. Sleep issues are a chronic issue.
Main remedy given: Syphilinum
After 1st prescription:
Considerably better! 30% reduction in vulval itching and 50% reduction in quantity of discharge. Previously it was gushing out and was white and lumpy. Now it’s thinner and not lumpy. Itch mix helped to stop the itching at night. Menstrual cramp mix worked like treat! Less PMT and less heavy bleeding too. An ‘unremarkable’ period. Sleeping a lot but not feeling refreshed.
After 2nd prescription:
Vulval itching vastly reduced, only 2 ‘bad’ nights, compared to itching every night before. Discharge slightly increased in quantity and still slightly itchy. Bowels looser but eating ‘holiday’ rich food. Needing a stronger menstrual cramp mix.
After 3rd prescription:
Discharge so much better. No longer gushing out at night and not lumpy. Now a healthy egg-white consistency. Vulval itching now sporadic but itch mix works quickly and effectively. Bowels much firmer and regular thanks to bowel nosode remedy. Possible moon or ovulation involvement with itching so remedies given for this.
Summary:
This lady was absolutely at the end of her tether trying to find a solution to her uncomfortable itchy issue! We are still working together to sort it out once and for all. But in the meantime, here are her words about it:
‘Neela is fantastic! She has helped me with a bothersome ongoing problem when nothing else worked. She is very thorough and professional and is brilliant at treating the whole person, rather than just the symptoms. I have recommended her to friends and family. Thanks Neela’
