Presenting condition: Eczema
Brief history: Eczema on back of knees, crock of elbows, back of neck and top of chest in 4yr old boy.
Relevant timeline incidents:
0yrs: Had multiple scan and tests throughout his pregnancy due to a genetic condition. Mum also developed cholestasis at 30 weeks. Lots of fear for mum during pregnancy. Labour was induced and then a C-section birth. Baby had heart murmur. Mum almost died due to sepsis from C-section.
2yrs: Eczema started appearing after mum had a blackout at home. He was there and was frightened, as paramedics put an oxygen mask on her.
Main remedy given: Phosphorus
After 1st prescription:
Skin has improved a lot. It is still itchy. Decreased severity from 10/10 to 7/10. Eczema on legs is still there but all other areas it has gone. Less frequent waking at night.
After 2nd prescription:
Skin is very good. Now only 2/10. Only a little bit left on 1 knee. A lot less itchy too. Sleep improved massively and is now sleeping through without waking. Also recovering quicker from colds.
This little boy was really bothered by his itchy sore eczema. He’s well on the way to never having to worry about it again!
